Australian Skills Assessment
If you are looking to emigrate to Australia, it is important you know if you have the right qualifications and skills to find a job in your desired occupation in Australia. The Australian Skills Assessment (also known as the Skilled Occupation List) allows you to be formally assessed by the appropriate authority to determine whether your skills, education and qualifications are at the required standard for that specific occupation in Australia.

This assessment will focus on your skills, experience and knowledge depending on your particular occupation. All Chef occupations require registration with the Australian state authority.
The Chef Skills Assessment is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your experience and skill sets as a qualified chef. On completion of the assessment, you will receive an Australian Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (CIV10115). This qualification will be invaluable for employment once you arrive in Australia.
Need to migrate to Australia as a cook? You will need to complete the skills assessment as part of your Australian skilled visa application.
The Cook skills assessment is a single course of study and assessment. You will be awarded an Australian Certificate III in Commercial Cookery on successful completion of the skills assessment. The skills assessment can be undertaken online or after arrival in Australia.
